Smart Storage Ideas for Creative Spaces

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Craft Room Organization (“the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free guides and ideas about storing and organizing craft supplies and craft spaces, for general information. We work to keep the guides clear and accurate, but we do not promise that every guide is free of errors or that a method will suit your supplies, your furniture or your room. Sizes are starting points to check against what you own, and time estimates are approximate.

General information, not professional advice

The site does not give professional safety, building, electrical, chemical or legal advice. You follow the guides at your own risk and are responsible for deciding whether a suggestion is suitable for your home and the people and animals in it.

  • Adhesives, paints, sprays and solvents. The product label and its safety data sheet are the authority on storing, using and disposing of a product. Where a guide and a label differ, follow the label, and follow your local waste rules for disposal.
  • Wall-mounted storage and tall furniture. For pegboards, shelves, rails, racks and anything else fixed to a wall, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and stated weight limits, and use fixings suited to your wall type. Anchor tall furniture as its manufacturer directs. The site gives no load figures or guarantees.
  • Sharp and hot tools. Scissors, craft knives, rotary cutters, blades, needles, pins, glue guns and other sharp or hot tools can cause cuts and burns. Store them out of reach of children and pets, keep blades capped, retracted or guarded, and let hot tools cool fully before storing them.
  • Small parts. Beads, findings, pins and similar items should be kept away from young children and pets.

Using our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Craft Room Organization. You are welcome to:

  • read, print and use the guides for personal, classroom, library or other non-commercial purposes;
  • adapt any method or storage project to your own space and supplies;
  • share a link to any page;
  • quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not republish whole guides or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.

Common ways of sorting and storing things, such as filing fabric upright or keeping beads in compartment boxes, are not anyone’s property, and anyone is free to use them. Our rights relate to our own written guides and illustrations, not to the general ideas behind them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or copying the site in bulk by automated means beyond what is needed for normal search engine indexing.

The site links to a small number of third-party reference pages that we think are useful. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Craft Room Organization is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from following its guides or from using anything you set up or make from them. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how information is handled when you use the site.
